Welcome to IOAVet.org!

Our Mission: To provide humanitarian support for veterans and their families while promoting public awareness concerning veterans issues and volunteerism among our student population.

We formed this charitable organization because we could not find a place where we could volunteer to help Veterans. We recognized that long after we are gone there are going to be Veterans who deserve respect and support. We decided the best way to serve these current and future Veterans was to create a network of student volunteers. These students would serve as role models to the classes who follow them. It is our hope that volunteering for American Veterans would become an honored student tradition.

We created this website to make it easy for people to volunteer to help our local Veterans. It is as easy as point and click to create your own Veterans Roll Call page to salute our local Veterans. Event organizers can create their own Virtual Volunteer pages, organize and advertise events, have online event registration and even receive credit card payments. Students can organize their own senior project or find volunteer opportunities. Check out our Current Fundraisers to see who needs volunteers. Or if nothing else you can simply share our logo and website to help grow our group of volunteers.

Angel Moms

The backbone of our organization is our Angel Moms Network. These moms create the events that help us support other mother�s Veterans. Moms know what it is to work tirelessly to help their kids. Some Veterans moms fear that after they are gone there will be no one to help their sons and daughters who served their country. American Veterans Support Network Angel Moms work to be sure, no American mothers Veterans will ever be neglected or forgotten.
